This painting will be showing at the Emerald
Art Center during June and July 2008.
John Ticer was born an Orthopedic cripple
and wore braces during his childhood. For the past
25 years he has overcome/ran the odds and become
a World Class Ultra Marathoner. Next month John will
run the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and come out
on the South Rim. Running one challenge after another!

The Emerald Spring Exhibition
committee has informed me that my entry "Lorikeets"
has
been accepted into the 2008 national painting competition.
The show will be held at the Emerald Art Center Gallery,
500 Main, Springfield, Oregon.
April 29 through May
31, 2008.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to
4 pm.
Awards Presentation and Reception, May 3, 2008
- 5:30 to 7 pm.
